Update from 11th May -> 26th May 2020

Following the latest information from the Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Sunday 10th May, some people are able to return to work safely. Unfortunately, the dental profession has to wait on an announcement from the Chief Dental Officer and NHS England. This will give us more information about:

  • When we are able to open our doors to provide operative dental care
  • What personal protective equipment will be required
  • Which treatments we are able to offer

We are hoping to gain more information on this in the near future, and we will be updating this page as well as our social media.

Follow us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for updates.

The team at Wigston House Dental Practice would like to reassure all patients that we are
STILL OPEN FOR TELEPHONE TRIAGE OF URGENT EMERGENCY DENTAL NEEDS ONLY.

All routine care, elective treatments and non-urgent care is to be postponed for 3 months.
(NOTE: this is subject to change and we will contact you in the event of any change).

Please call us 0116 281 0646 for any urgent dental needs. Call NHS 111 for out of hours service.

You will be asked a series of questions by our reception team to assess your health and your dental emergency.
You can speak to a fully qualified dentist for the assessment and management of your condition.
NOTE: This may not be your usual dentist.

We want to reassure everyone that your urgent dental emergency will be prioritised and you will be looked after.
